Campvita started with a layoff, a backpack, and a much-needed break from the noise.
When our founder’s job was outsourced overseas, it hit hard. Like so many others, he found himself burnt out, overwhelmed, and unsure what came next. So, he packed up his gear, hit the road, and went camping in the Pacific Northwest—no big plan, just the need to breathe again. That trip turned out to be more than just a getaway. It was life-changing. Out there among the pines and peaks of the Cascades, he rediscovered something simple but powerful: it does us all good to get outside.

That’s where Campvita was born.
